This iphone mobile application is designed for Petroleum Engineers who frequently require estimating properties of fluids such as natural gas, crude oil and/or produced water.
"PetrolCalcLite" is free version of this "PetroCalc" but that only estimate with single correlation and is for evaluation purpose. While with this version of PetroCalc, fluid properties can be estimated with different correlations and compared to get the better results. This tools estimate following fluid properties;
Natural Gas: gas specific gravity, gas density, gas compressibility factor, gas formation volume factor and gas viscosity.
Crude Oil: gas solubility, bubble point pressure, oil formation volume factor, oil density and oil viscosity.
Produced Water: water formation volume factor, water viscosity, gas solubility in water, water isothermal compressibility.
In addition to above fluid properties, a handy unit conversion tool is also added into this application so that input can readily be changed as per desired unit when required.
